  • At Skin by Cynthia, we always offer the highest quality ingredients, products, modalities, & advanced treatments only available to licensed & certified professionals. Our prices may change without notice due to the constant change in industry & market.

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so no later than 72 hours in advance.

    If you reschedule or cancel less than 72 hours in advance, you will be charged the full-service amount. I understand things happen - so please contact us immediately.

    If you schedule less than 72 hours prior to your appointment, you agree to SBC policies.

    Skin by Cynthia has the right to ban or cancel appointments if you have multiple no show, reschedules, &/or cancellations.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged the full-service amount.

  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes early or on time. Our waiting area is limited and there are other professionals at work. Please no additional guests.

    There is a free parking lot for our building please feel free to park there.

  • Pre-care instructions are important because the prevent unwanted results. Please scroll down to read more.

  • This is an advanced treatment and I require all clients to complete pre- and post-peel care as well as have a home regimen that includes retinol prior to scheduling a professional peel. Please schedule an Advanced Signature Treatment (consultation and treatment) if you’re a first-time client at Skin by Cynthia.

By making an appointment, you acknowledge & agree to the following:

    • Cancellations or rescheduling require 72 hours’ notice or the full-service fee will be charged.

    • Arrivals 10+ minutes late for facials may be canceled, marked as a "No Show," and charged in full.

    • Please arrive on time (or up to 10 minutes early) with no additional guests.

    • I give permission to receive facial and/or skincare treatments and understand these are cosmetic, not medical procedures.

    • My esthetician does not diagnose, treat medical conditions, or prescribe medication.

    • I confirm I have physician clearance for treatments, if necessary.

    • Possible side effects may include temporary redness, irritation, tightness, swelling, bruising, or allergic reactions.

    • Risks may be higher if I do not disclose medical conditions, medications, allergies, or recent treatments (e.g., Retin-A, acids, aggressive exfoliation, waxing).

    • I understand the importance of sunscreen use (minimum SPF 30) and avoiding excessive sun exposure after treatments.

    • I will communicate any discomfort during treatment, and either party may end the session at any time.

    • I have had the opportunity to ask questions and all have been answered.

    • I consent that the information I’ve provided is true and accurate, applies to all future treatments, and that I am at least 18 years old.

  • Stop retinol, Retin-A, tretinoin, etc. minimum 7 days prior to your treatment.

  • If you are taking Accutane (Isotretinoin), Sprionolactone, or any other acne Rx, you will need to wait a minimum of 60 days before you schedule an appointment. Please consult your MD before stopping any Rx.

  • Refrain from exfoliating or using any acids; lactic, glycolic, mandelic, salicylic acid, enzymes, benzoyl peroxide, etc minimum 3 days prior to your treatment.

  • Absolutely no sunburn or windburn prior to your appointment.

  • Avoid waxing 24 hours prior to your treatment. Waxing can make the skin more sensitive or cause irritation.

    It’s recommended that you book your brow and lash services with Lash St. Helena 24 hours prior or after your facial treatment.

  • Please schedule your treatment 2 weeks after receiving Botox and/or filler.

After your appointment.

Please follow our professional advice & instructions as discussed with you in the treatment room after your treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure and always apply & reapply your SPF. As always, if there are any concerns, contact us ASAP.
